Ding Dong the Tea-boy's Dead
Life changed irrevocably the minute Ianto woke up the three week coma following his near drowning after being knocked into the bay by a Weevil.
The lack of oxygen from the ten minute submersion damaged some parts of Ianto’s brain that controlled personality and impulses, but kept all his memories intact or as Owen renamed the former teaboy: John Hart Jr.
At first Jack could deal with the change in his lover, but the alcohol, drugs and promiscuity (even the ever flirtatious Captain had his limits) became too much for him to handle and it almost broke Jack when Ianto seemed relieved when he suggested a break.
“What are you so upset about, this is who I am and it’s your issue if you can’t deal you stuffy old fart,” the young man clicked his tongue ring against his teeth, just one of the many changes made since Ianto’s release from the hospital, the others included spiked orange hair and a complete wardrobe overhaul.
“No, it's not you or maybe it is; I don’t know, but now you're just somebody that I used to know and the Ianto I loved is dead,” Jack hung his head as Ianto literally ran out of his life and into the arms of buxom redhead and her husband.
